Breakfast Ham Calzones

Ingredients
- 3 cups biscuit mix
- 4 oz. (1 cup) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
- 1 cup milk
- 3 oz. diced green bell pepper
- 2 oz. diced sweet onion
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 6 large eggs, beaten
- ¾ cup pizza sauce
- 2 tablespoons sun-dried-tomato pesto
- 9 oz. Farmland® Pulled Smoked Ham*
- 3 oz. (about ½ cup) shredded mozzarella cheese
Preparation
- Heat convection oven to 350°F. Combine biscuit mix, Cheddar cheese and garlic powder in medium bowl. Stir in milk. Knead dough by hand a few times until it forms a ball.
- Divide dough into 6 equal pieces (about 5 oz. each). Place on parchment-lined sheet pan; press each into a 7-inch diameter circle.
- Sauté pepper and onion in skillet with melted butter over medium-high heat 2 minutes. Add beaten eggs; cook until eggs are set, stirring occasionally.
- Combine pizza sauce and pesto. Spread 2 tablespoons sauce onto each dough circle to within 1 inch of edge. Top one half of dough with pulled ham, scrambled eggs and mozzarella.
- Fold untopped dough over fi lling; press edges firmly to seal.
- Bake at 350°F. for 15 minutes.
