Stuffed Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 12 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 9½ oz. frozen chopped spinach, thawed and well-drained
  • 7 oz. prosciutto, chopped
  • 5 oz. diced onion
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 12 (8-oz.) Farmland GM Center Cut Pork Chops**
  • Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper
  • Olive oil

Preparation

  1. Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add spinach, prosciutto, onion and garlic; mix well.
  2. Cut 2½-inch-deep pocket in side of each pork chop.
  3. Stuff with prosciutto mixture. Season outside of chops as desired with Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.
  4. Brown chops in olive oil, approximately 2 minutes per side.
  5. Place on lined sheet pan and bake in convection oven, covered, at 350°F. for 18 to 22 minutes until internal temperature reaches 160°F. Remove cover during last 5 minutes of baking.

  • Cranberry Apple Stuffing: Stuffing mix with chopped apple, dried cranberries, celery and toasted walnut pieces added. Use apple cider to moisten mixture.
  • Sweet Potato Stuffing: Combine diced cooked sweet potatoes, Farmland Apple Cider Bacon (cooked and crumbled), toasted pecan pieces and cinnamon-raisin–bread cubes.
  • Cornbread Sausage Stuffing: Cornbread stuffing mix with Farmland Breakfast Sausage (cooked and crumbled), mushrooms, onions, celery and sage added. Moisten with pork or chicken broth.
  • Tropical Stuffing: Cornbread stuffing mix with pineapple, mango, almonds and crushed red pepper added.
  • Italian Stuffing: Stuffing mix with Farmland Pepperoni, marinated artichoke hearts, spinach, sun-dried tomatoes and asiago cheese added.
